Long crested Eagle. Still seems really strange to me that a bird...
Long crested Eagle. Still seems really strange to me that a bird of prey would have such an ornate crown! It’s beautiful. Just a little strange.

I love these pics that my man took of me. We were sitting in...
I love these pics that my man took of me. We were sitting in this bird hide in Imfolozi Park (Part of Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park) and this little guy came and sat next to me and Rudy managed to get these shots!
Interestingly enough - we were back at the same bird hide almost 2 years later and the same bird (breed at least - not necessarily the same bird) came and sat next to me too! Didn’t manage to get a photo though!
