An African Helmeted Turtle (Terrapin) suddenly arrived in our garden the other day out of nowhere - there are no likely bodies of water around where we could think he came from. We have placed him in the care of a wildlife organisation who will place him in a suitable (wild) environment!

World Car-Free Day

So today is World Car-Free Day (and Rhino Day here in South Africa too)… so I rode my bicycle to gym today, where I then ran, and worked out and swam, before riding home.

Makes me wonder though - why do I normally drive to gym? I could actually make every day Car-Free day in reality!
